Flavio R. Benito, Master Piper, belongs to the late XXth century Asturian generation that has brought so many and good artists to our traditional music.

His substantial record as a teacher includes a wide range of activities related to the Asturian bagpipe teaching, always as a background to the traditional Asturian folk music, which extends from  its teaching at some town schools of music to the creation and conduction of piper bands, without leaving behind the release of musical works to ease the teaching of the most typical Asturian musical istrument.
